Should recruiters look at CVs at all in 2022?
You might have heard of a developer that received a 90% response rate when candidating to jobs thanks to a fake CV stuffed with hot keywords (web3, React, Javascript, crypto, NFT). An impressive improvement compared to her "regular" CV that only got 2% reply rate. So, dou you think recruiters still hire according to CVs? Do you think there are any better ways to hire?
How do you create a winning culture?
We all know that starting a business is hard and it is a real roller coaster ride with constant challenges and setbacks. In the darkest hours it can be tough to be positive. How do you inspire yourselves and your team to achieve a winning atmosphere? We have just started with a friday meeting called "win of the week" where everybody in the team gets a few minutes to talk about their wins - there are always really great achievements and wins that would go by the majority of the team if we didn't highlight the wins. So far it feels like it has boosted the atmosphere.
How do you address cultural difference with remote teams?
Communication with teammates in another city is already inefficient, plus the cultural differences if your team is located in multiple countries. In slower-paced cities or countries, sometimes people faile to follow the convo threads in groups (esp when they're involved in several projects) and don't get updated, although all the info is there. How did you address that?
